Best Legacy Consult
My Journey of Growth in Teaching and Building Best Legacy Consult My journey as an educator has been greatly enriched by the guidance, mentorship, and influence of my mentor and coach. Before I encountered her mentorship, I had experience and passion for teaching, but I did not always see the full potential of what I could build from my knowledge, skills, and years of experience. Through her teachings, coaching, and the opportunities created within the Fruitful Teachers Community, I began to see teaching beyond the classroom. One of the greatest transformations for me has been learning to intentionally position my expertise, develop my skills, communicate my value, and turn my knowledge into meaningful opportunities. Her Dream Again initiative challenged me to think beyond my current reality and believe that I could build something significant from my teaching experience. That mindset shift has been instrumental in my journey. Today, I am building Best Legacy Consult, a brand focused on supporting children, teachers, parents, and schools through phonics, literacy, early-years education, handwriting, learning resources, and teacher training. I have also been able to create and market educational resources, facilitate phonics training for teachers, provide reading intervention, and explore different ways of extending my impact beyond the traditional classroom. Looking back, I can clearly see that my growth has not only been about acquiring more teaching knowledge; it has been about developing the confidence, mindset, visibility, and entrepreneurial perspective needed to use that knowledge effectively. I am deeply grateful for the investment my mentor has made in my growth. Her ability to challenge educators to dream again, think differently, take action, and become more fruitful has had a meaningful impact on my career. My journey is still evolving, but I am grateful for how far I have come and excited about the greater impact ahead. Best Legacy Consult is not just a brand I built; it is an expression of the knowledge, experience, growth, and purpose that I have developed along the way. I am thankful to have a mentor who continues to remind educators that there is always more to become, more to create, and more lives to impact
